At The Children’s Academy in Weirton, WV, we proudly provide a comprehensive private child care and preschool program for families across West Virginia, Ohio, and Pennsylvania. Our center is designed to support children from six weeks to 12 years old, offering small class sizes, age-appropriate groupings, and certified Early Childhood professionals dedicated to every child’s success. Many of our teachers have been part of The Children’s Academy family since the very beginning, creating a consistent and nurturing environment where children can grow. Each classroom follows a state-approved curriculum with regular assessments to ensure every child is developing academically, socially, and emotionally. We also participate in the USDA Child Food and Nutrition Program, serving healthy breakfasts, snacks, and hot lunches daily to support active learning and well-being.

How The Children’s Academy Came to Be

In January 2002, Christine and Robert Rosnick opened The Children’s Academy in Weirton, WV. Their mission was to provide the Weirton community with an education-based, comprehensive child care center. They expanded on their overwhelming success with the opening of our Wintersville facility in November 2011. The Children’s Academy continues its distinguished reputation as an established child care center in the Ohio Valley region that is respected for its longevity and quality services.
